DURA PULSE

by Blackwors

Players who want to track gear before it breaks can add DuraPulse, a Fabric HUD mod that flags low-durability armor and tools in the hotbar and armor display.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.1 – 1.21.11

What it does

DuraPulse watches the equipped armor and the items in the hotbar. When a tool or armor piece falls below 10% durability, its slot pulses red, and at 2% the warning becomes critical. Small color-coded percentages are drawn over hotbar items so durability can be read at a glance. The mod works entirely on the client, so only the player who installs it needs it, and no server-side installation is required.

Several other features cover the rest of the play loop. Auto-Totem keeps a Totem of Undying ready in the offhand and replaces it as soon as one is used. When a worn item is about to break, the mod can search the player's bag for a spare piece of the same kind and equip it on its own. An interactive in-game HUD editor lets players drag, drop and scale the armor display, with options to move, scale and group the armor view vertically. The mod is published for Fabric only, across the 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 range, under All rights reserved, and it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Hotbar durability warnings

Slots holding a tool or armor piece below 10% durability pulse red, and the warning turns critical at 2%.

  2. Color-coded percentages

Durability percentages are drawn directly over hotbar items in colors that show the remaining health.

  3. Armor display layout

The armor display can be moved, scaled and grouped, with adjustable spacing between pieces on an interactive editor screen.

  4. Spare item equipping

When an item is about to break, an intact item of the same type is found in the inventory and equipped.

  5. Auto-Totem and Auto-Shield

A fresh Totem of Undying or shield is moved to the offhand as soon as the current one is used or breaks.
