Drop2Inv
by Guayand0
Drop2Inv sends the drops from broken blocks and killed mobs straight into the player's inventory, so items no longer fall to the ground.
What it does
When a block or mob drops items, Drop2Inv routes them directly into the inventory of the player who caused the break or kill. Nothing lands on the ground, which removes the need to walk over and pick up scattered stacks after farming or mining. The same behavior covers mob drops from kills.
Beyond direct drops, the mod adds harvesting helpers for several plant types. Breaking one block collects identical blocks above it into the inventory, which applies to tree-like structures such as sugar cane, stacked plants and chorus plants. Tree Capitator style felling is part of the feature set as well.
The mod is client-side only, so no server or other player needs it. It works in single-player worlds only. The author states that the project is unofficial and not affiliated with the original creators. The code is released under the Apache License 2.0 and is open source.
