DisableFrontView removes the front-facing third-person view on Forge 1.8.9, so the F5 key only cycles between first-person and rear third-person.
What it does
Pressing F5 normally cycles through three camera angles, including a front-facing third-person view. With DisableFrontView installed, that front angle is skipped, so the camera stays either in first person or behind the player. The mod is aimed at players who find the front view distracting and want a steadier camera during play.
A configuration screen inside the game lets the player switch the mod's behavior off without restarting. The mod is built for Forge 1.8.9 only, uses a small codebase, and is client-side only: the server and other players do not need it. It is open source under the MIT License, and its source code is public.
