Disable Wood Stripping is a Fabric client-side mod that turns off right-click stripping of logs and wood with an axe.

What it does

Players who hold an axe and right-click a log normally strip its bark, and this happens by accident more often than intended. This mod switches that action off entirely, so logs and wood keep their bark no matter what tool is in hand. Only the client needs it, and the file targets 1.20.4 alone, released 2025-03-18 under the MIT License as an open source project.

    Right-clicking a log with an axe no longer strips it, so the bark stays in place.

  2. Blocks wood stripping

    Stripped wood made from logs is also disabled, covering the wood variant of the same action.
