Disable Lighting
Disable Lighting is a Fabric client mod that turns off the game's lighting calculations for a fullbright effect.
What it does
The mod removes the lighting math that the game normally performs, so the world stays fully lit without the cost of a separate fullbright approach. Only the client needs it, and servers run without it. Builds are published for Fabric on 17 release versions, 1.21 – 26.3, under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, which is open source.
Key features
Fullbright without lighting math
Instead of brightening the screen, the mod skips the lighting calculations the game would perform.
Light level display in F3
A side effect of the change is that the F3 debug screen always shows the light level.
Client-side operation
The mod changes only the client, so players can add it to a server they join without server changes.

What the author says
Unlike most other fullbright mods, Disable Lighting prevents your game from performing the lighting calculations entirely. This mod only runs on the client side.
