Dimension A: Resource World adds a standalone super-flat dimension built from stacked layers of stone, deepslate, netherrack, endstone and other materials, each with resource veins.
What it does
The dimension is laid out as a flat, playable area of stacked layers. From the bottom up it holds obsidian, gravel, dirt, sand, red sand, calcite, tuff, blackstone, terracotta, endstone, netherrack, deepslate and stone, topped by a single grass block layer. Each material layer carries its own veins of ores and resources, so digging through the stack gathers materials without searching a generated terrain.
The mod runs on NeoForge 1.21.1 and is published for 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 1.3.0 as the latest file. It is needed on both sides, so the server and every player install it. The code is All rights reserved and not open source, though public links exist for the source code and issue tracker.
Key features
Layered resource dimension
A flat dimension where each stacked material layer, from obsidian up to the grass surface, holds its own resource veins.
Vanilla ore variants
Coal, copper, diamond, emerald, iron, lapis, redstone and end stone ores appear as variants inside the layers.
Colored material layers
Layers include colored terracotta, concrete powders and gravel, giving the stack a range of blocks to dig through.
Custom resources in development
The author is developing Ores Expanded to add custom resources meant for a modpack, and requests for compatibility patches are open.
