Deeper and Darker

Deeper and Darker customizes the Deep Dark dimension that comes from another mod. Its settings control the height of the floor and ceiling, the thickness and roughness of the bedrock layers, and the thickness and roughness of the surface and ceiling. Block replacement lets the mod swap the bedrock, ground and surface blocks that form the floor and ceiling.

Spires and stalactites are generated with a girth and height that adjust automatically to the distance between ground and ceiling, and a maximum stalactite height can be set. Water and lava lakes can be generated in the dimension, and dungeon structures can be generated there as well. Deeper and Darker requires MixinBooter, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for Forge 1.12.2 only, with the latest file 1.1 dated 2024-04-02, and it is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license without being open source.
