Davey's Copper Rails adds copper rails for NeoForge that behave like powered rails, with a cheaper recipe and oxidation that changes their speed.
What it does
Copper rails are a cheaper alternative to powered rails and add a speed boost to powered rails. Copper rails can oxidize naturally through separate Exposed, Weathered and Oxidized blocks, and a player can wax them with a right-click recipe or scrape the wax off with an axe to reverse the oxidation. The speed multipliers for copper and powered rails are set independently in the config, and an optional speed penalty tied to oxidation can be switched on.
A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. It targets NeoForge for 1.21.1 only, with a single file, version 1.0, published on 2026-07-12. Davey's Copper Rails is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.

Copper rails are crafted as a cheaper option than powered rails and work in the same role on a track.
Natural oxidation
