Data Config
Data Config gives datapack authors a graphical configuration screen, so players can adjust datapack parameters in-game through Cloth Config instead of editing JSON by hand.
What it does
Datapack authors write simple JSON configuration files, and the mod turns them into a visual settings interface inside Minecraft. Players can change datapack parameters directly in-game without opening or editing JSON files, and changes take effect immediately, although a game restart is required for some of them. Each datapack can also be switched on or off from the same interface, and datapacks are loaded with the highest priority.
The interface is built on Cloth Config API, which is required and must be installed alongside Data Config. Cloth Config supplies the widgets, so the mod supports more than ten configuration types, including sliders, text boxes, dropdown menus and color pickers. Config option names, descriptions and tooltips are set per language, and the interface is bilingual in Chinese and English. The mod is open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server, with files published for Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.21.1, 1.21.10 and 1.21.11.
