Dark's Heart Indicator draws each player's health as hearts above their name tag, so combat is easier to read at a glance.
What it does
On Fabric for 1.21.4, the mod shows hearts above player name tags and updates them in real time as health changes. Only the client needs it: players join multiplayer servers without installing anything, and other players see the same visuals only when they run the mod too. Fabric Loader is required, and the mod is released under the MIT License but is not open source.
The rendering only changes what is drawn on screen. It does not alter gameplay mechanics, so combat results stay the same as in vanilla. The mod is built to keep the interface clean and unobtrusive while improving visibility during fights, which suits PvP play. Its small footprint also keeps the performance cost low, since it adds no server traffic and no extra logic on the server side.
