CubicChunksCompatibilityHelper is a Forge helper that adjusts other mods so they behave correctly in worlds that use Cubic Chunks.

What it does

Cubic Chunks changes how the world is divided vertically, and some mods assume the old height limits. This helper tweaks those mods so they do not crash or act unexpectedly in such worlds. Its job is to fill compatibility gaps between a mod's behavior and Cubic Chunks, which is why it works alongside other mods rather than adding content of its own.

Two mining and pumping mods are covered in this way. The Vertical Digger can dig across y=0 and continue downward, and the Ender Pump can pump across y=0 and continue downward. Both use a configurable depth limit, and a minimum y-level relative to the machine applies, whichever is higher. The Hybrid World CC world type gets its own handling during world generation, so terrain creation stays consistent there.

The mod is for Forge on Minecraft 1.12.2 only, with its latest file, 0.1.0, dated 2024-03-20 on the beta channel. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. It is released under a custom license and is not open source. Cubic Chunks and MixinBooter are required, and Ranged Pumps is an optional dependency.
