Creeper Babies

Creeper Babies, a Fabric mod for 26.2, adds small baby creepers that spawn naturally and can be bred from two normal creepers fed TNT.
What it does
Baby creepers spawn in the world and stay small permanently, so they never grow into adult creepers. Their hitboxes are smaller, and their explosions are much smaller than a normal creeper's blast, a one-block-style burst rather than a full crater. A player who right-clicks a baby creeper with a Golden Dandelion makes it friendly: its texture changes and it stops exploding, and it can be lured with gunpowder. Friendly babies can also be attached with leads, which makes them easier to move around the world.
Breeding uses two normal creepers fed TNT. Nearby creepers display hearts and drift toward one another before a baby appears, and a cooldown follows each breeding. The mod also adds a Baby Creeper Spawn Egg. It requires Fabric API and is licensed under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Because the environment is client and server, both sides need the mod installed.
