Create: Limited Draining is a Create addon that restricts the infinite draining of certain fluids by biome, with lava in the Nether as the default case.

What it does

Infinite draining of selected fluids is controlled by biome through a tag system. Biomes and fluids are grouped by the createlimiteddraining:infinite draining tags, so a server owner can decide which fluid sources may be drained endlessly in which biomes. Installation needs Create, and the addon is published for Forge and NeoForge, with builds for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 under the MIT License, which is open source.

Both the server and every player need the addon, since it is a client and server mod. The default configuration keeps infinite lava draining out of the Nether, and the tag lists can be edited to change that.
