Create: Cogged Up

Cogged Up is a Forge add-on for Create that introduces a range of new cogwheel variants. Each material can be given a maximum stress reduction factor, which limits how much a cog lowers the stress applied across a network. In a contraption, cogwheels reduce stress only up to that cap, so a chain of cogs built from these materials can carry more load than standard parts allow. Copper casings can encase cogwheels, applied to every cog type except the industrial ones.

The mod runs on the server, so players join without installing it. The stress values are fully configurable with commands: the stressReductionConfig command sets a factor for a material by name, resets it to default, disables it, or reports the current factor. Because the mod depends on Create, Create must be installed alongside it. Files are published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, and the source code is public under the MIT License.
