Create Additions & Synthetics

The addon covers Create's processing chain with new recipes. Magma blocks, bone blocks, bookshelves that bulk-haunt barrels, sea lanterns that bulk-haunt ice, quartz blocks made from terracotta and aged copper blocks that return nuggets as experience are among the outputs. Andesite alloy casings can be produced from a new liquid, molten andesite. Each recipe is meant to stand beside an existing vanilla or Create route instead of replacing it, so a player can pick the path that suits the factory.

The author describes the goal as making automation simpler and giving players several options for making items. Recipes are described as mostly based on real-world synthetic manufacturing processes, and the list of recipes is included in the author's documentation. Creative Tank from Create Stuff n Additions is also obtainable through a recipe, and the author notes that the balance was kept fair. The author recommends JEI alongside the mod to browse the new recipes.

Version 2.0 adds a tier beyond netherite with higher damage and mining speed, called Gilded Netherite. It is made at a smithing table using a new set of items, and a Gilded Upgrade is crafted from dense brass sheets combined with a brass crystal. A netherite tool can be upgraded at a smithing table into its Gilded Netherite variant, and Gilded Netherite armor is planned for a later release. The mod is for 1.20.1 only, with 1.21.1 and newer versions not expected to be supported. Servers that run it need every player to install it too.
