CraftPlanet is a client-side Fabric utility for Minecraft 1.21.6 – 1.21.11 that bundles FPS limiting, render-distance controls, durability tooltips, chat history and custom capes into one mod.
What it does
Installed on a client, CraftPlanet adds a set of performance and quality-of-life tools. It can cap the frame rate, including when the game window is out of focus, and it lets the player set the maximum distance at which sign text, item frames, entities and block entities render. A limit on the number of particles is included as well, so the player can trade visual detail for speed.
The mod also covers everyday interface needs: item durability shown in tooltips, the current in-game time shown on the pause menu, a chat history that keeps up to 10000 messages, and support for custom capes, including a cape disc that loads a cape file. Weather effects are shown when enabled, and a QuickPack option handles custom lazy file loading. CraftPlanet depends on CraftLib, which must be installed alongside it.
The mod is published for Fabric only, with files for 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10 and 1.21.11. The latest file is 1.3.2+1.21.11 for 1.21.11, released on 2026-02-18. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code is publicly available.
