Crafting Tweaks

Crafting Tweaks adds over 900 extra vanilla-friendly recipes for crafting, stonecutting and smelting, so players can craft and recycle items that vanilla leaves out.
What it does
The recipes cover a wide spread of everyday materials. Wood can be stonecut, calcite, tuff and blackstone become craftable, and smooth or chiseled stones can be smelted back into their original form. Old tools, items and armor can be recycled into their material, and extra armor trims can be smelted from diamonds. Wool, string, packed ice, blue ice, quartz and magma blocks can be unpacked, and stairs, slabs, walls and carpet can be combined back into their full block form.
Other recipes add routes into the nether and the newer content. Copper golem statues, name tags, enchanted golden apples, powered rails made with copper, froglights, shroomlights, soul soil and mossy stones gain new craft or smelt paths. Crying obsidian can be crafted and smelted back into obsidian, and rotten flesh and magma cream can be smelted into leather and slimeballs. Crafting Tweaks is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and servers can also run it as a data pack.
The mod runs on the server, so players join without installing it. It covers game versions 1.21.9 – 26.3, and the latest file is 1.8+mod for 26.3, released on 2026-09-19. The code is not open source, and all rights are reserved.
