Crabs Backport brings several blocks from later Minecraft releases to Minecraft 1.20.1 – 1.20.6 on Fabric, including a cactus flower, dry grass, a firefly bush and a set of copper blocks.
What it does
Crabs Backport is a Fabric mod that adds blocks from later Minecraft versions to the 1.20 line. Its additions are a cactus flower, short and long dry grass, a firefly bush, and a copper set made of chiseled copper, doors, grates, trapdoors and bulbs. Each block is placed into the world as it would be in the newer release, so worlds built on 1.20 get the same decorative options.
Since the mod generates and decorates biomes with these blocks, it counts as world generation work and also reaches adventure, decoration and utility uses. Installing it needs only Fabric; the mod has no other required dependency. Files cover 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.20.5 and 1.20.6, and the latest file is 1.4.3 for 1.20.6. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source.
