Copper Item Pipes
by Pepsied
Copper Item Pipes lets copper grates and pipes move items through a Minecraft world, using the copper blocks vanilla already provides.
What it does
Copper grates and pipes carry items along a route built from copper blocks. Only hoppers can insert items into a copper grate or pipe, so droppers and dispensers cannot push items into the line. Accepted blocks include the copper block variants, among them waxed and oxidized versions, and the four Copper Blocks that vanilla adds to the game.
Transfer speed is the main difference from hoppers. A copper pipe moves full stacks at a time, where a hopper moves one item per transfer, and the transfer is shown visually along the pipe. The mod is aimed at fast, tidy item transport in survival bases and automated storage setups.
The server needs Copper Item Pipes for the pipes to work, while players may add it to see the visual transfer. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 14 release versions, 1.21.2 – 26.2, and is released under the MIT License. It is not open source. A data pack build is also available.
Key features
Item input
Only hoppers can insert items into copper grates and pipes, which keeps the input side predictable.
Full-stack throughput
Pipes transfer full stacks at a time, while hoppers transfer one item per transfer.
Visual transfer
Items moving through a pipe are shown along the route, so the flow can be followed at a glance.
