Control Saver Mod
by Vethre
Control Saver keeps a player's Minecraft key bindings intact when the game is restarted or when switching between versions.
What it does
Control Saver stores key bindings and reapplies them each time Minecraft starts, so controls no longer reset after a version change. A player can save the current controls with a command, and the saved set is applied on every launch. To change the saved controls later, the player sets new bindings and runs the command again, which replaces the earlier save. The mod is Fabric only, covers versions 1.20.4 – 1.21.11, and runs on the client alone.
Key features
Saved key bindings
Current controls are written to a save that is loaded whenever the game starts.
Command-based saving
A single command stores the present bindings, and running it again overwrites the previous save.
Reset protection
Bindings are restored after launches and version switches, so they stop reverting to defaults.
