Create: Compact Additions

The mod extends Create with compact kinetic components. Its main purpose is to give builders new ways to turn compact machines into vehicles, and it is built as an addon for Simulated Aeronautics, which it depends on together with Create and Create Aeronautics. Most of its code and its textures and models are derived from Create, and the mod follows the same kinetic logic.

Two parts are central to the mod. The inverted transmission works like a standard analog transmission, except the redstone signal is flipped, so a stronger signal produces a lower rotational speed; a signal of 10 gives the output that a standard transmission gives at signal 5. The Cogged Gearshift is an encased cogwheel gearshift whose combined cogwheel is not affected by the gearshift, and a redstone signal on either side reverses the direction of rotation.

Create: Compact Additions is licensed under the MIT License and is open source. It targets NeoForge only, with files for 1.21.1, and runs on the client and on the server, so both need it. The source code and the issue tracker are public.
