ChatLagFix
by Fus3n
ChatLagFix moves chat message processing off the main game thread, so incoming messages no longer stall rendering on Fabric for 1.21.11.
What it does
In vanilla Minecraft, the main render thread both processes chat messages and draws the game screen. Each arriving message can trigger several heavy tasks, and even tasks that take a few milliseconds can cause a stutter. A longer task freezes the game until it finishes. At the moment a chat line comes in, ChatLagFix takes over its heavy work and passes it to a separate background thread, which keeps the render loop running frame after frame.
Because the processing runs in the background, a message may appear in the chat box after a slight delay compared with vanilla. In exchange, framerate stays smooth and consistent during busy chat. The mod is a small client-side change that targets Fabric builds for 1.21.11, and it is released under the MIT License as open source. The author notes testing only in offline mode and says the same processing runs identically for anyone, so online behavior is not confirmed.
Key features
Background chat processing
Heavy work on incoming chat messages runs on a separate thread instead of the render thread.
Uninterrupted frame rendering
The main game thread keeps drawing frames while chat messages are being processed.
Fewer micro-freezes
Stutters and brief freezes caused by chat processing during busy conversations are reduced.
Smooth framerate in busy chat
Framerate stays steadier when many messages arrive in a short time.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.

Use cases
Busy public servers
Players on servers with heavy chat traffic can keep rendering smooth while messages stream in.
Who it’s for: Players on Fabric who see stutters or freezes when chat is busy, on any server they join. Not needed for players who do not notice chat-related lag.
How it compares
Anti Chat Lag is also client-side only and open source under the MIT License, but the catalog lists it for 1.21.11 as well. MChat Fix is client-side only, not open source, released under All rights reserved, and also for 1.21.11. Buffer is client-side only, open source under the MIT License, and covers 1.21.1 – 1.21.11, so it reaches older builds. FastPackLoad is client-side only, not open source, and targets 1.21.10 – 26.2.

What the author says
This is a small client-side mod for Fabric Minecraft 1.21.11. It prevents the game from freezing or stuttering when chat messages are received or sent on servers. If any of these tasks take even a few milliseconds, your game will stutter. If they take longer, your game will freeze until the task finishes.
