Chat Magic
With Chat Magic installed, WorldEdit command output and material expressions appear in the chat window as formatted displays, not plain text.
What it does
Chat Magic changes how WorldEdit's command-line output is shown to the player. Results are rendered in the chat as charts and graphic displays, which makes complex materials easier to read than raw command text. Block and item identifiers are parsed and displayed in a readable form, and both the name and the namespace:name notation are accepted as input.
The mod can also chart random material inputs, such as a mix of 30% stone and 70% grass, as a bar chart that shows the portion of each material. Materials with custom block states, for example stone stairs with a top half and a west facing, are supported, with a tooltip that appears when the mouse is placed over an entry. Complex masks and recursive material expressions that start with a selector are handled too, and a selector's parameter list expands when hovered. The display can be adjusted: two sliders control chart height and background transparency, and the text position and font style of the charts were reworked.
