Celestial Metals
Celestial Metals is a Forge and NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that adds two new metals, Fundamental Bedrock and Steel, to the world and to progression.
What it does
Fundamental Bedrock generates close to the bottom of the Overworld, near the bedrock layer, and Steel generates in the first deepslate layers down to the bedrock. Mining Fundamental Bedrock requires a diamond pickaxe or better. Both metals are used to craft items, and the author describes the mod as still in early development, so the number of utility items and blocks made from them is limited for now.
Crafting with Fundamental Bedrock produces items such as an accelerator that speeds up crop growth. A Steel Pickaxe automatically smelts whatever a player breaks, including materials that are not stone. The mod also includes a haste potion and a new update, and it is released as a Forge and NeoForge build for 1.20.1 only.
