Catholic Things
by mgit
Catholic Things brings decorative blocks, wearable headwear and sculpted statues drawn from Catholic practice, sacred art and church design into a build.
What it does
Players can place liturgical items, religious imagery and other sacred pieces to furnish churches, cathedrals, monasteries and similar Christian-style buildings. The content is purely decorative and aims to represent Catholic tradition respectfully within Minecraft's visual style. Players can use it for building, roleplay and medieval or religious builds on singleplayer worlds and multiplayer servers.
A sculpture system lets players carve religious statues with a hammer at a sculpting table, using blueprints. Some blueprints can be crafted, while others are purchased from cleric villagers. The mod also includes a Yellow Ipe biome with its own dedicated wood set: logs, leaves, planks, stairs, slabs, fences and fence gates, which suits religious builds placed in villages. Players can find crafting recipes for the items through Enough Items (JEI).
The mod is available for Forge and NeoForge. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Builds cover 1.16.5 and 1.21.4, and the latest files are 1.1.0 for 1.16.5 on Forge and 2.0 for 1.21.4 on NeoForge. The code is under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
