Can I Have A Cigarette? adds two craftable cigarette items to NeoForge, along with their in-game effects when a player consumes one.

What it does

Players craft two kinds of cigarette from paper, dried kelp, beetroot seeds and a roach-style ingredient, with four used to craft one cigarette. Consuming a regular cigarette makes the player unable to walk for 20 seconds and lowers attack speed. The crack variant gives speed and jump boost and briefly raises attack speed, and its roach is returned to the inventory after use.

The mod is a cursed novelty addition, aimed at players who want a joke item on a NeoForge world. It runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it installed. Files are published for NeoForge only, for game versions 1.21.1 – 1.21.8, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.8 as the latest file. The code is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, and the project is not open source.
