Cammie's Combat Tweaks changes how melee fights play out, covering both player versus player and player versus monster encounters on Fabric.
What it does
The mod overhauls Minecraft's combat so that hits land faster and more consistently in both player-versus-player and player-versus-environment fights. Its author aimed for fights that feel less frustrating to face. Settings can be changed in-game through ModMenu, and the list of options is long.
Only the client and the server need the mod, so both sides run it together. Files cover 1.17 – 1.18.2 for Fabric, with 1.12 for 1.18.2 as the latest file, and the license is a custom one that does not make the code open source.
