Button Animations, a Fabric client mod by Noslow, gives Minecraft's standard buttons a hover grow and a press-and-bounce effect.

What it does

Hovered buttons in the standard button-based menus scale up smoothly and ease back down when the cursor leaves. A click produces a soft press-and-bounce instead of the stiff response of vanilla buttons, and the default hover outline is removed. The layout of the menus does not change, so the vanilla look remains while interaction feels more tactile.

The mod is client-side only, so a server does not need it and players can join a server without installing it. A config screen lets the player adjust the effects. The author recommends installing Button Fix alongside it. Files are published for Fabric only, for four game versions: 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1 and 26.1.2, with 1.2.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest file, dated 2026-05-06. The mod was first published on 2026-03-31 and is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
