Bring Back The Old Hitsounds! restores the original hurt sound that plays when the player takes damage.

What it does

Players hear the classic oof hurt sound again when they take damage, in place of the current hurt sound. The mod only changes this one sound and does not touch other entities, which keep their own hurt noises. It runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 13 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.1.2, and the code is covered by the MIT License without being open source.

This mod quite literally only does 1 thing: adds back in the original hurt sounds! Why would you do this? Idk, maybe you like the original hurt sounds like me? Well, yeah. This doesn't work for other entities.
