Botanical

by PacificCyan

Botanical brings real-world plants into Minecraft, where some give useful effects and others pose a risk.

What it does

The mod adds real-life plants with their own properties to survival play. Aloe Vera can be eaten to heal wounds, which grants a brief regeneration effect that ends as soon as the player takes damage. Other plants in the mod serve different roles, some helping and some making exploration harder, so each one has to be approached with care. Botanical runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Forge is the only loader, and files target 1.20.1 with 1.0.0 as the latest file, published under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Aloe Vera healing

Eating Aloe Vera restores health and gives a short regeneration effect that is removed when the player is hurt.

  2. Plants with their own roles

Each plant has a distinct effect, and some are more dangerous than the healing ones, so exploration calls for caution.

  3. Real-world plant basis

The plants are modeled on real species, adding new dimensions to the survival experience.
