Bipples and Bops Mod lets players tame bipples, small birds that can be gathered into a little army, using a few special items and bop berries.
What it does
Taming works through a small set of items. A bipple is tamed with specific items, and the tamed bipples can then be picked up and set back down with a hoe, so a flock can be moved around a base. Bop berries are one of the items used for taming. The mod is built on Geckolib, which must be installed alongside it for the mod to run.
The mod was made with MCreator and is a survival-oriented project with a main gameplay loop that adds content in stages. Many of its parts are meant to be found while playing, and the author asks that players go in without spoilers. For players who want to see everything without exploring, creative mode offers commands that place mobs and items directly from the creative menu.
Bipples and Bops Mod is published for Forge and NeoForge. Client and server both need it, so the server and every player must run the same build. Builds cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 with 12 release versions, and the latest Forge file targets 1.21.11 while the latest NeoForge file targets 1.21.1. The code is under All rights reserved and is not open source.

This has been a pet(pun not intended) project of mine for a long time, but the project file got deleted somehow, and I'm taking that as the universe telling me to just release the mod after, like, 10 months of working on and off. The mod is a little rough around the edges when it comes to some of the later game…
