Better With Enchanting

Enchantments are applied to tools and weapons in the game and change how they behave. Some of them alter mining: Searing smelts mined items instantly, Scavenge trommels them, and Insight raises the score a player earns from mining. Others affect combat, such as Buckshot, which fires a cone of several arrows, and Lifesteal, which restores a small amount of health on a successful hit. The enchantment list is shown in game, and in-game commands give details on each enchantment.

The mod also includes a score system. Players earn score by mining, fishing and finding rare items, and bottled score can be obtained from dungeons. Commands let a player enchant or disenchant an item and set a custom score, which suits servers that want to control progression. Better With Enchanting runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Its files target b1.7.3 only, and HalpLibe is required as a dependency. The mod is released under CC0 1.0 Universal and is open source.
