Tribute

by TheMidford

Tribute brings back block textures that earlier Minecraft versions used before newer ones replaced them, for the b1.7.3 release.

What it does

Tribute gives some blocks from Minecraft's past a second chance, restoring ones that were largely forgotten after newer textures took their place. It also lets players convert placed blocks in the world into flying blocks through hourglass mechanics. The mod needs HalpLibe to run, and it works on both client and server, so the server and every player need it installed. Files are published for b1.7.3 only.

Key features

  1. Restored older blocks

Blocks that earlier versions used, before newer textures replaced them, return to the game.

  2. Hourglass block conversion

An hourglass converts blocks placed in the world into flying blocks.

  3. Flying block mechanics

Converted blocks move through the world as flying blocks, following the hourglass mechanics.
