Better Waypoints (Funnest's Edition)
by Funnestgamer
Better Waypoints (Funnest's Edition) is a Fabric waypoint mod that lets players mark and manage locations with names, colors, icons and coordinates.
What it does
Players create waypoints with custom names, coordinates, colors and icons, which makes it easier to keep track of a base, a village, a structure or any other important location. Waypoints can be searched and organized, and folders, tags and dimensions help group them as a world grows. A screen-edge indicator points toward waypoints that are off screen, and beacon-style light marks each location in the world.
Coordinates from the Nether are converted automatically to Overworld coordinates using Minecraft's 8:1 ratio, which simplifies travel between the two dimensions. The mod runs on the client alone, so players install it without any server-side component. Files are published for Fabric only, across 32 release versions 1.18 – 26.3, and the license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
Key features
Custom waypoints
Each waypoint can carry a custom name, coordinates, a color and an icon, so players can tell similar locations apart.
Search and organization
Waypoints can be searched, and folders and tags group them by purpose or area.
Screen-edge indicator
Waypoints outside the view are marked at the edge of the screen, showing their direction.
Nether coordinate conversion
Nether and Overworld coordinates convert automatically at the 8:1 ratio, so cross-dimensional travel needs no manual math.

Who it’s for: Players who explore large worlds, build bases in several places or travel often between the Overworld and the Nether.
