Better MC Screenshots changes how in-game screenshots are previewed, shared and stored, with a built-in gallery and uploader for players on the client.

What it does

Screenshots taken in the game get a preview, a sound cue and an in-game gallery, so a shot can be checked without leaving Minecraft or digging through folders. An uploader is included for sharing a picture directly from the screen. Fabric API is required. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it and players join without installing anything. Builds cover 1.21 – 26.3 for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.

    A small preview of each new screenshot appears on screen, so the picture can be checked right after it is taken.

    Saved screenshots open in a gallery inside the game, replacing the need to search the screenshots folder by hand.

  3. Upload from the game

    Pictures can be sent to an online host from the screen, with the link shown in chat once the upload is done.
