Better Loot
by TriQue
Better Loot changes the loot tables that Vanilla chests, mobs and blocks draw from, so the rewards found in the world differ from the defaults.
What it does
The mod rewrites Vanilla loot tables so that items dropped by chests, mobs and blocks are reworked, and the resulting rewards are described by the author as more rewarding. It is a world generation and game mechanics mod with adventure elements, and it is open source under the MIT License. Fabric API is required, and the server needs the mod while players may add it.
Files are published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, across 14 release versions, 1.20 – 1.21.8. The latest files target 1.21.8 and were released on 2025-09-23, and the project first appeared on 2023-12-18.
