Bedrolls
by devJordan
Bedrolls adds a placeable bedroll that sets a player's spawn point when placed on the ground, without needing to sleep on it.
What it does
Placing a bedroll on the ground sets the player's spawn point at that location. Right-clicking a bedroll that is already placed does not set a spawn point, so the bedroll must be placed fresh to take effect. The idea is inspired by Conan Exiles and suits a mod-specific use case where crafting beds is disabled and bedrolls are used instead. Bedrolls is published for Forge 1.20.1 only, and it is a client and server mod, so both the server and every player need it.
Key features
Spawn point on placement
A bedroll placed on the ground sets the player's spawn point there, without requiring the player to sleep.
Re-placing sets spawn
Right-clicking a bedroll that is already placed does not change the spawn point; it has to be placed again.
Bed crafting alternative
Server owners can disable crafting beds and rely on bedrolls as the spawn option instead.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.

What the author says
In fact you cannot sleep in this, right clicking a preexisting bedroll will simply set your spawnpoint to its location. The idea for this mod is to disable the crafting of beds and opt to use bedrolls instead. This mod has a very specific use case.
