Bedrock Elytra Brake
On Fabric for 26.2, Bedrock Elytra Brake copies the way elytra slow down on Bedrock Edition and applies it in Java Edition, with only the client needing the mod.
What it does
Players who glide with an elytra on Java Edition can slow down using the braking behavior that Bedrock Edition already has. The brake is part of the client, so a player installs the mod and no server change is needed. Only the client needs it; a server running Java Edition without it still lets the brake work for the player's own client. Files are published for Fabric, for 26.2 only, and the mod is released under CC0 1.0 Universal.
