Beacon Overhaul Revived
by Old
Beacon Overhaul Revived changes how beacons scale: higher tiers raise the strength of effects, and several new effects are added on top of the vanilla set.
What it does
A beacon's tier is raised by building larger pyramids of diamond or netherite blocks, and each tier increases the strength of the effects it provides. Two new effects are added alongside the existing ones: Long Reach, which extends interaction distance, and Nutrition, which restores food levels over time. Night vision is strengthened so the world stays fully lit at midday, and a fog-free full-bright effect is included.
Slow Falling can be used with sneaking to drop at normal speed while fall damage is still negated. Jump Boost also raises the step height so a player moves up blocks without stopping. Auto-jump takes precedence over this effect, so it needs to be disabled for the effect to apply. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt for 1.21.11 – 26.1.2 under the Apache License 2.0, and the source code is open source.
