Basic Parts - A Flan's Mod Content Pack

The fabricator is a multi-section menu that gives access to a wide variety of parts such as barrels, stocks, engines and armour plating. A player selects a recipe and presses a craft button to send it to a queue; the parts are processed over time, a crafting in progress can be cancelled with the X key, and finished items are placed in an output area. Shift-clicking an item moves it into the inventory or the transport system. Wood is sorted into three broad types, one per tier: soft woods such as oak and birch, hard woods such as cherry and jungle, and dense woods such as warped and crimson.

Each part type comes in between three and ten options made from different materials, and the munitions set covers pistol rounds, artillery shells and effects such as armour piercing, explosive and incendiary. Materials such as Fiberglass, Kevlar and Silicate are produced in a multiblock structure. Distillation turns raw materials, such as sand and clay, through a Distillation Cap placed on a number of Distillation Stacks; some recipes need one layer and some need up to three. The distillation menu shows which outputs a run will produce, and the mod also adds two new metals, produced by blasting iron and netherite.

Basic Parts requires Flan's Mod to be installed, and the Forge files target 1.20.1 only. The server and every player need the mod installed. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with the source code, issue tracker and wiki publicly available.
