Epic RPG: Average DPS
by HER0XP
Epic RPG: Average DPS, a combat tracker for Minecraft boss fights, shows each player's damage per second and total damage while a boss is nearby.
What it does
During a boss encounter a real-time overlay shows each participant's damage per second, total damage and top hit, with the combat duration centered below the boss bar. The overlay position can be configured, and its visibility can be toggled with the letter O to enter an edit mode. The tracker only activates when a boss is close and resets cleanly between fights, so no stale data carries over.
When a tracked boss dies, a combat summary is printed in chat listing every participant's figures. Damage data is synchronized across players, so every participant sees the same numbers. The mod suits speedruns, build testing and boss optimization, where comparing gear or setups by numbers is the goal.
The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge across five game versions, 1.20.1 – 26.1.2. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. The latest Forge file is 1.2.1 for 1.20.1 and the latest NeoForge file is 1.2.1 for 1.21.1.

How it compares
Epic Fight: More Skill Slots is released under the MIT License and runs on client and server for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, so it adds skill slots rather than combat statistics. VL+ DPS Meter is a Fabric, Forge and NeoForge mod that runs client-side only across 1.8.9 – 26.1.2 and is not open source, so the client alone is enough. DPS Meter is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6 that is server required with an optional client and is not open source.
