Ars Libratum

by brooke-ec

Ars Libratum, a Forge add-on for Ars Nouveau, changes how warp scrolls, the ring and related items behave on a server.

ForgeServer-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.1

What it does

The mod works only on Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1 and requires Ars Nouveau to run. Its effects are set by a configuration file that is created in the world's serverconfig folder, so server owners can tune each world separately. A configuration addon for Ars Nouveau is also listed as a companion, which allows finer balancing of the Ars Nouveau items it touches.

Players join without it, since only the server has to run the mod. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are publicly linked. Files are published for 1.20.1, with 1.0.0-1.20.1 as the latest release from 2024-01-08.

Key features

  1. Stabilized warp scroll durability

Sets how many uses a Stabilized Warp Scroll gets before it breaks, controlled by the configuration.

  2. Warp scroll stack size

The maximum stack size for Stabilized Warp Scrolls can be set separately from Normal Warp Scrolls.

  3. Ring jumping limit

The number of mid-air jumps allowed with Ring Jumping before the player must land is configurable.

  4. World-specific configuration

Settings are stored in a file in each world's serverconfig folder, so values can differ between worlds.
