Armorable Skeleton Horses

Armorable Skeleton Horses lets players put armor on skeleton horses, a mob that is otherwise left unarmored in vanilla play.
What it does
Skeleton horses can be equipped with armor through this Fabric mod. The mod covers skeleton horses only, and the Bygone Nether's Wither Skeleton Horses are supported as well. Armor from many other horse armor mods is said to work with it, and a Netherite horse armor option is among the supported types.
Skeleton horses gain new behavior in the mod. They can spawn naturally, and a skeleton can ride them. Training mechanics and other adjustments from the Superb Steeds project also apply to horses, and the Bygone Nether addon adds new structures and a Nether biome with mobs that live in it. Fabric API is required. Eternal Nether is an optional dependency.
The mod is published for Fabric only, across 13 release versions 1.20 – 1.21.5, and the latest Fabric file, 1.0.6, targets 1.21.1. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is not open source, and it is released under All rights reserved, with public links for the source code, issue tracker and wiki.
