Apollo the Parrot adds talking parrots based on the social media personality Apollo, along with extra sounds, a Pistache plant item and an African grey variant styled after him.
What it does
Parrots in the world can speak in the voice and style of Apollo, and a set of additional Apollo sounds extends what they say. Tamed parrots can take on Apollo's texture, and an achievement rewards taming one. A new African grey parrot variant looks like Apollo, and the Pistache is an item and plant added by the mod.
The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, and its source code and issue tracker are public. It is published for Fabric only, across 13 release versions 1.20.1 – 26.3, and the latest file is 1.5 for 26.3, dated 2026-09-03. Fabric API is required, and the [ETF] Entity Texture Features mod is required as well for the texture features. Both sides run it, so players and servers each install it.
