Falling meteors from the sky strike the terrain and leave craters, fires and obsidian, with this NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 and later builds.

What it does

Meteors spawn at random positions around players and trail smoke as they fall, giving a player a short window to spot one before it lands. Impacts create craters, start fires and leave obsidian, and staying clear of the landing area avoids the damage. Spawn frequency is set through difficulty levels named low, medium and high, and a command can summon meteors directly. The mod runs on NeoForge and is published for 1.21.1 – 1.21.10, so it needs both the server and every player. Files are not open source and remain under All rights reserved.
