Anime angel

Anime Angel is a Forge and NeoForge mob mod that spawns a glowing celestial entity in overworld meadow and forest biomes.
What it does
Two variants are included: the classic Anime Angel and a fiery Flame Variant that adds a more fantasy-styled look to the same biomes. Both are meant to change the feel of exploration rather than add a separate progression system.
An angel can be tamed with a Golden Apple and then becomes a loyal companion that fights alongside the player. Defeating an Anime Angel drops an Enchanted Golden Apple, which is the item used for taming. Placing a jukebox nearby and playing a music disc near a tamed angel makes her dance for 820 Minecraft ticks. The mod requires GeckoLib for its animations, and the files target 1.20.1 and 1.21.1.
Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, and the mod is not open source.
Key features
Natural spawning
Anime Angels generate in the overworld, so players meet them while traveling through plains, forests and meadows.
Golden Apple taming
Defeating an angel drops an Enchanted Golden Apple, which tames her into a loyal ally that fights for the player.
Rhythmic dancing
A tamed angel dances when a music disc plays in a nearby jukebox, using a set pattern of movement tied to the music.
Animated 3D model
A pixel-art model with glowing wings and smooth walking, idle, attack and dance animations, driven by GeckoLib.

How it compares
Piglin companion is a Forge-only companion mod for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and open source. Zoni's Companions is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 under the MIT License and not open source. Anime Angel differs from both by spawning a mob in the world rather than adding companions to the player's side, and it is the only one of the three with files for NeoForge.
