AmputatedRagdolls is a Forge compatibility bridge that makes severed limbs disappear on ragdolls created by the Ragdollified mod, for Minecraft 1.20.1.

What it does

A compatibility bridge sits between Ragdollified and the limb-removal behavior. Once both are installed, limbs cut off by a mob's amputation no longer stay behind as leftover parts on the ragdoll. The mod only applies to humanoid creatures, so other mob shapes are left as Ragdollified handles them.

Ragdollified is a required dependency and must be installed alongside AmputatedRagdolls on the same Forge setup. Better Blood Overlay and the TaCZ Timeless and Classics Zero addon are optional: the first gets a compatibility layer for its blood effects, the second adds TaCZ support. Blood particle packs are included in the blood effects, and a fix stops baby zombies from growing ragdolls incorrectly.

It is installed on the player's side alone, so servers need nothing. The license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source. Files are published for Forge 1.20.1 only, with 1.2.0 as the latest build from 2026-09-20. The first version appeared on 2026-07-31.
