Ammophobia (Quicksand)
by VoidCyplus
Ammophobia, for Fabric on 1.20.1, places four kinds of quicksand pit across the world, from desert sands to the depths of the deep dark.
What it does
Quicksand pits generate as several variants, each tied to a biome. Plain quicksand covers much of the desert terrain, red quicksand is rarer and turns up in badlands, and tar pits appear in mangrove swamps, often beneath trees and on hills. Sculk pits are the least common and are found within caves near the deep dark, with the most of them generating inside Ancient Cities.
The pits are a world generation addition, so they appear in new and existing worlds where their biomes are present. The mod does not add an item or block recipe to craft the pits, and chainmail boots are the protection the mod points to when crossing quicksand.
Ammophobia is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.1. It requires no other mod listed in this catalog. It runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
