Alloy
by Nertex
Alloy adds metals, tools, armor and a Mega Smelter to Fabric worlds on Minecraft 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, with new materials that change how resources are processed.
What it does
Alloy introduces new metals such as Azurite, Bronze, Aurum and Hell Metal, each with its own properties, appearance and production method. Every metal comes with a full set of tools (pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe and sword) whose strength, speed and damage differ, along with a set of armor that gives protection and an extra effect while worn.
The Mega Smelter is a block that melts ores and materials faster and more efficiently than standard furnaces. Recipes for the new items and blocks follow the usual crafting system, and an achievement system tracks progress through the new content. Items and blocks use custom textures and 3D models meant to match the look of the base game.
Players only need the mod on the server if they run it there, since the server and every player must both run it. Alloy is released under the MIT License and its latest Fabric file is 1.2.2 for 1.20.6.

Use cases
Expanding resource processing
Players who want to diversify mining and processing can use the new metals and the Mega Smelter as an additional route through the resources they collect.
Progression in survival
The added metals and armor sets give survival playthroughs new crafting milestones and goals to work toward.
Who it’s for: Players who want more metals, tools and armor sets in a Fabric game, and server owners who want to add a new crafting progression for their players. Both sides need the mod to run it.
