All Items
by 170yt
In All Items, the server picks one item at random and players must find and collect it before the next one is chosen, a challenge that is played in a minigame format.
What it does
Each round, the mod randomly selects an obtainable item and shows it in a bossbar. Players must collect that item before the next one becomes active. Items that cannot be obtained are kept in a separate list, so they are skipped during selection. Progress is stored as the active item id, the list of obtained item ids and the list of unobtainable item ids.
The challenge is built for multiplayer servers, where a single shared target gives everyone the same goal, but it can also be played without a server in a single-world setup. A timer runs between selections, and its length is set in seconds through a timerSeconds integer. Item icons can be shown in the bossbar and chat messages through the showIcons option, which defaults to on.
The mod requires Fabric API. Only the server needs the mod installed, so vanilla clients can join without it, though clients that run the mod see the same features. All Items is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric as 1.5+26.1.2 for 26.1.2 (2026-04-23). Files cover 1.21.10 – 26.1.2 across three game versions.
Key features
Random item selection
The server picks an obtainable item at random for each round, keeping the target unpredictable.
Bossbar progress
A bossbar shows the currently active item so every player can see the current target.
Icon display
Item icons can appear in the bossbar and chat messages, controlled by the showIcons option.
Configurable timer
The time between selections is set in seconds, and the timerCommandRequiresOperator option decides whether operators are needed to use the timer command.
Saved progress
The active item, obtained items and unobtainable items are stored, so a round can continue from its saved state.
